Our Story
We're Jordan and Allison Crawford — a husband-and-wife team working in family medicine. DiabetesDayOne is a calm, honest, practical resource that meets people where they are on day one.

Jordan and Allison Crawford — DiabetesDayOne founders
We’re Jordan and Allison, two healthcare providers who believe that caring for someone means caring for the whole person—not just treating a diagnosis or checking a box on a lab result.
Jordan began his career working in the inner city before specializing in orthopedic medicine, and he now practices full-time in family medicine. Through his years of caring for patients, he’s seen firsthand how deeply every part of a person’s life can impact their health, and he believes that addressing the whole picture is essential to achieving truly effective, lasting results.
Allison began her career in the intensive care unit, later worked in women’s health, and now practices in family medicine. She believes that one of the most important parts of being a healthcare provider is truly listening and understanding where a person is, what they’re going through, and what they’re ready for without that understanding, it can be difficult to create meaningful change.
We created this course because we know that a type 2 diabetes diagnosis can feel overwhelming, and we want to help you feel less confused and more confident as you navigate what comes next. Our goal is to provide the clear, practical, and compassionate guidance we wish every patient had access to from the very beginning.

Most of the anxiety around a new diabetes diagnosis comes from not knowing what it means or what to do. Clear, honest information is the most powerful thing we can offer.
Medical jargon creates distance. We write and speak in the same language we use with our own patients — because you deserve to actually understand your health.
We are not here to give you a perfect diet or a 12-week quick fix program. We are here to give you a realistic, sustainable starting point that fits your actual life.
One-time payment. Instant access. Built by the clinicians who see it every day.

A calm, practical guide for your first 30 days with type 2 diabetes.
